If you require a visa to visit Japan, please start the application process in the nearest Japanese Embassy early as it may take some time. If you need any official proof (invitation letter) that you’ll attend the conference, please contact us.
Usually the weather in September is warm and relatively humid. Typhoons sometimes occur in September, but usually Nagoya is outside of their main area of influence and might only experience rainfall for several hours. For more information:

Wireless internet will be made available to conference attendees at the conference venue.
Wifi hotspots are widespread in Japan, but some require subscriptions. There is a free WI-FI service for tourists: http://www.ntt-bp.net/jcfw/en.html
You can also rent a “pocket wifi” mobile router at the airport, which will connect your wifi enabled gadgets to the internet wirelessly anywhere in Japan.
